Terms of Service
Last updated: October 9, 2026
These terms are between you and Nümia. Nümia is the legal business name and registered seller of the Nümia service. By creating an account or continuing to use Nümia, you agree to these terms. If you use the app on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age in your country.
The service
Nümia is a personal planning application with goals, habits, calendar views, reflections, vision boards, and an AI planning assistant ("Vera"). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan. We work hard to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.
Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. The full rules are in our acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary:
· unlawful use, fraud, or spam;
· infringing anyone's intellectual property;
· introducing malware, probing our systems, or scraping the service;
· reverse engineering, reselling, redistributing, or circumventing plan limits;
· using the AI assistant to generate illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, or malware, or to attempt to bypass its safeguards.
Your content and AI
You retain ownership of everything you create in your planner. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service. You are responsible for what you enter and how you use AI outputs: AI suggestions can be inaccurate and are not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove it; repeated infringement may lead to account suspension.
Our intellectual property
We own the service itself — the software, design, documentation, and Nümia branding. These terms give you no rights to them beyond using the app.
Subscriptions and payment
Plans (all prices in euros, VAT included): Nümia Planner — free. Nümia with Vera — €12.99 per month or €119 per year. Nümia Student — €8.99 per month, or €69 per academic year, for verified students. Founding Member — €89 per year, available to the first 100 members, with the price locked for 2 years from purchase. The amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay. The free plan, Nümia Planner, includes: Today, Day, Week and Month views; events with repeats and reminders; to-dos with Must / Should / If time; Quick Add; up to 3 habits, 1 goal and 2 lists; vision boards; themes and palettes made from your photos; the focus timer; search, undo, deleted items and export; calendar import from a file; and Vera's daily morning briefing. Nümia with Vera, Nümia Student and Founding Member include everything in the free plan, plus: Vera, the planning assistant, who plans your days and weeks, rearranges what changes and answers questions about your planner; capture by typing, speaking, or a photo or screenshot; the Year view; unlimited habits, goals and lists, with habits carrying into each new month; growth and monthly reflections; finances and travel; lock-screen wallpapers; desktop floating widgets and Focus Spaces; Priority Room, Build my week, Wind Down and alarms; Together (planning with friends, polls and shared wishlists); and live calendar subscriptions. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan & billing or through the Paddle customer portal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you then continue on the free plan. Nothing is deleted: anything you created with paid features stays saved and read-only. Try Nümia with Vera free for 14 days. No card needed. When your trial ends, you'll continue on the free Nümia Planner. Nothing is deleted: anything you created with paid features stays saved and read-only. You're never charged unless you choose a plan. Each account can use the trial once. When a trial ends, a paid plan is cancelled or a payment finally fails, nothing is deleted. Your account continues on the free plan, and anything you created with paid features stays saved and becomes read-only: you can still see it, but not change or add to it, until you choose a paid plan again. Student plans require a verified university email. Verification is valid for 12 months. If you have not re-verified by your next renewal after that, your subscription switches to the matching standard price (monthly €12.99, yearly €119) at that renewal. We will email you at least 30 days before, explaining how to re-verify or cancel. Founding Member pricing (€89 per year) is locked for 2 years from the purchase date while the subscription stays active. Founding places are limited to the first 100 members and are not reopened. After 2 years, the subscription renews at the standard yearly price of Nümia with Vera (€119 per year). We will email you at least 30 days before that renewal, and you can cancel at any time before it. Vera is included with your subscription under a fair-use policy designed for personal planning. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle.com acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, VAT and invoices. Payment, billing, taxes, renewal, and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Current prices are on our pricing page; billing detail is in our payment terms and our refund policy explains how refunds work.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated serious violations. When your account ends, you may request an export of your data for 30 days, after which it is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" and we disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
General
You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These terms are entered into with Nümia, the legal business name and registered seller identified above, are governed by the laws of Spain, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Spain, unless mandatory consumer law gives you another forum.
