This privacy notice explains how Nümia ("we", "us") handles your personal data. Nümia is the legal business name and registered seller of the Nümia service, and is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at any time at contact.numiaplanner@gmail.com.
What we collect
Account data. Your email address and sign-in credentials, used to create and secure your account.
Planner content. The goals, events, habits, reflections, notes, images, and vision boards you create. This content is yours; we store it so it syncs across your devices.
Subscription data. Your plan type, status, and renewal dates. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider — we never see or store your card number.
Usage and device data. Basic technical information such as device type, browser, and IP address, used for security, fraud prevention, and to keep the app reliable.
Support messages. Anything you send us when you ask for help or share feedback.
Why we use it
We use your data to create and maintain your account (performance of our contract with you), to sync and store your planner content, to keep the service secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interest), to provide customer support, and to improve the product. If you opt in, we may send occasional product updates by email (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings).
Who we share it with
Service providers. Hosting, database and authentication (your account and planner content), transactional email (sign-in, verification and reminder messages), push notification delivery, and our AI provider. Each processes data on our behalf under contract. The full list and the safeguards are in our data processing notice.
Merchant of Record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and processes payment data for billing, tax compliance, subscription management, and invoicing.
When you buy a plan, Paddle (our merchant of record) receives your name, email, billing country and payment details to process the payment, VAT and invoices. We receive only your subscription status, plan and renewal dates — never your full card number.
For student plans we store only your university email, the date it was verified and the date verification expires (12 months later), and keep them for that verification period. We never store student IDs or documents. For the free trial we store the date it started and ended, plus a one-way code of your email so a trial is used only once.
Professional advisers and authorities. Where required for legal, accounting, or regulatory reasons, or where the law requires disclosure.
We never sell your personal data.
AI features
When you use Vera, our planning assistant, the planner content you choose to share in that conversation is processed by our AI provider solely to generate your answer. We do not use your planner content to train AI models.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your planner content is deleted or anonymised within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or tax reasons. When a trial ends, a paid plan is cancelled or a payment finally fails, nothing is deleted. Your account continues on the free plan, and anything you created with paid features stays saved and becomes read-only: you can still see it, but not change or add to it, until you choose a paid plan again.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Spain, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, email contact.numiaplanner@gmail.com — we respond within one month. Legal bases, retention periods and complaint routes are set out in our data processing notice.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, and row-level isolation so only you can read your planner.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the EEA. Where they do, transfers are protected by adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Details are in our cookie policy.
