A letter from Tessa · October 2026

Why I built Nümia

The first letter: what I kept getting wrong about planning, and the question that became Nümia.

I spent more time setting up planners than actually living my days.

Setting goals, finding new habits, making vision boards. I was always the one building the system, and by the time the week was finally laid out, there was nothing left in me to actually live it.

I do believe in clear plans, and in being able to see where you are going. That part matters. But when a planner starts asking more of you than your day can give back, the planner is the thing that is broken.

“How do I keep the clarity, and still have the head space to follow it?”

I sat with that question for a long time. Nümia is my answer to it.

01Three things I believe

What I believe

  • You can grow with a clear head. Big goals do not have to come with a racing mind.
  • Life is a spiral, not a circle. When something comes back around, you meet it higher up.
  • Admin belongs to the tool, life belongs to you. No guilt and no broken streaks.
